Series 8 Curriculum Overview

In this series, children will begin learning about the creation account as seen in Genesis 1. They'll learn what it looks like to have true faith.

God is Sovereign

Studies 1-4

Lessons on Ezra and Nehemiah. This includes the return from Exile and Nehemiah’s leadership in rebuilding.

God is Omniscient

Studies 5-8

Lessons from the book of Esther. This includes King Ahasuerus’ plan to find a new queen, Haman’s conspiracy, Esther’s obedience, and the preservation of the Jewish people.

Human Suffering

Studies 9-12

Lessons from the book of Job. This includes Job’s faithfulness towards God, Satan’s accusation, Job’s loss, and his friends’ response, focusing on the concept of suffering.

True Faith

Studies 13-16

Lessons from the book of James, with a focus on how genuine Christian faith should be lived.

Christian Growth

Studies 17-20

Lessons from 1 & 2 Peter, with a focus on the concept of Christian Growth.

Living by Faith

Studies 21-24

Lessons from Hebrews 10-13, with a focus on the concept of Living by Faith.
