Series 6 Curriculum Overview
In this series, children will begin learning about the creation account as seen in Genesis 1. They'll learn what it looks like to have true faith.

Disobedience
Studies 1-4
Lessons from 1 Samuel 1-15. This includes Eli’s failures as a High Priest, Samuel being chosen, the Philistines stealing the Ark of the Covenant, and Saul’s anointing as king.

Godliness
Studies 5-8
Lessons from 1 Samuel 16-21. This includes David being anointed by Samuel, the story of Goliath, Jonathan’s friendship with David, and how David is kind to Saul.

God's King
Studies 9-12
Lessons from 2 Samuel. This includes David’s kingship, his kindness to Mephibosheth, David’s sin with Bathsheba, Absalom’s treachery, and David’s psalm writing.

Conversion
Studies 13-16
Lessons on the concept of conversion, using well-known conversion stories from the Book of Acts. This includes the conversion of Saul (later called Paul), the conversion of Cornelius the Gentile, and the conversions of Lydia and the Jailer.

Service
Studies 17-20
Lessons on the nature of Christian service, using Paul’s missionary journeys as recorded in the Book of Acts.

Sanctification
Studies 21-24
Lessons on the concept of Sanctification, using passages from Romans 5-7 paired with Old Testament examples.

Depths of Grace - John Newton
5 Additional Lessons
This true-story of a man named John Newton follows his life from a young lad, to a rebellious youth, to a wicked slave trader, to a preacher of the gospel! God’s grace is seen at every step despite Newton’s continual rejection of God.
